Texture & stucco
Repair and match stucco and textured finishes, inside and out.
Overview
Repairs that blend into the wall
Stucco is the skin of most buildings in Aruba, and heat, salt air and settling leave it cracked, hollow or loose in places. Repairing it well means cutting out what is loose, rebuilding in layers and matching the existing texture, so the repair disappears under the paint. A fresh texture can also give a tired wall a new finish altogether.
Scope
What's included
Every quote is itemised: you see each part of the job as its own line before anything starts.
- Tapping the wall to find hollow and loose stucco
- Removal of damaged areas back to a sound base
- Rebuilding in layers, with the right curing time between them
- Matching the existing texture, or a new texture across the whole wall
- Primer and paint, so the repair is sealed against moisture
Process
How the job runs
Inspection
We map loose and cracked areas and show you what is cosmetic and what is not.
Repair
Damaged stucco comes off; new layers go on and cure.
Texture
The surface is textured to match, then primed and painted.
Hand-over
A walk-around in daylight, when any difference in texture would show.
Warranty and limits
Good to know
- Curing time
- Fresh stucco needs time to cure before it is painted. Your schedule includes it.
- Warranty
- Up to 6 months on the finish we apply, for cosmetic issues such as peeling, flaking or blistering. It never covers the structure underneath.
- Structural cracks
- Hairline cracks are filled as part of the prep. Cracks that point to movement in the structure are assessed and referred to a specialist, never priced as cosmetic work.
